Operational reality

GPS denial is a
battlefield reality.

GPS jamming and spoofing have become standard electronic warfare tactics. From active theatres in Ukraine to Baltic shipping lanes to civilian airspace over Northern Europe, GNSS signals can no longer be treated as reliable infrastructure.

Operational consequence
Loss of trusted position and timing degrades autonomy, mission coordination, and safety margins simultaneously. Systems designed with GNSS as an optional aid rather than a constant dependency are now the operational baseline.
The gap
High-grade inertial systems deliver accuracy at price points incompatible with mass-producible platforms. Pure visual odometry provides relative motion but drifts without absolute anchoring. Anti-jam GPS still depends on a signal that can be fully denied. The gap is clear: low-cost, low-power multimodal navigation capable of delivering absolute position on microcontroller hardware.
Clausal’s answer
Multimodal terrain-referenced navigation fused with inertial sensing. Sensor data is matched against preprocessed environmental models to determine absolute position without reliance on GNSS or continuous connectivity. The system is self-contained, resilient, and deployable on microcontroller hardware across any platform.

Infrastructure

European sovereign
AI infrastructure.

All AI training runs on Clausal’s own compute in Finland. No training data leaves European jurisdiction. This is not a compliance workaround — it is the architecture.
